We are seeking an experienced Generator Technician to inspect, service, repair, and install commercial diesel and natural gas generators . This hands-on role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills , including experience with generator control systems (AC/DC) , wiring modifications, and electrical distribution systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on diesel and natural gas generators.
• Conduct load bank testing to verify generator performance and capacity.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, including engine components and control systems.
• Install, remove, and adjust generator components; modify speed and voltage settings per customer requirements.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and breaker settings .
• Use diagnostic tools, including multimeters, ammeters, megohmmeters, and generator software systems .
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
• What We’re Looking For:
• 3–5 years of experience with commercial diesel and natural gas generators .
• Proficient in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting , including generator controls (AC/DC) and wiring modifications.
• Hands-on experience with load bank testing , engine repairs, and generator performance evaluations.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and read electrical schematics accurately.
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning in power generation technology.
