Job Description

Title: Program Manager IV
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Type: Contract

Our client is seeking a Program Manager IV who will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, and status reporting of program-oriented work efforts. Supports coordination with all release management teams and with external partner release management teams.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Manages daily release calendar and release notes; coordinates with teams.
  • Hosts partner business-to-business calls and manages partner(s).
  • Opens and manages change tickets.
  • Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs.
  • Responsibilities also include aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts.
  • Develops new business and expands product line.
  • Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments.
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Experience with programs in multiple technologies and functions.
  • Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • A degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Must be able to pivot quickly in area of focus.
  • ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence experience.
  • A history in release operations or release management; understanding of how releases roll out in an environment.
  • Prompt and able to meet daily time deliverables.
  • Some business-to-business communications experience.
  • MS Office knowledge is required.
  • Smartsheet is a plus.
