We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer with the top leading multimedia and creative software company in the world using cutting-edge tools and technologies, including industry-leading AI and creative software, empower millions of users to achieve their creative and business goals.

• Senior Software Engineer (Contract)
• Location: Candidates local to San Jose, San Francisco, or Lehi Adobe offices nice to have. Open to exceptional candidates who are remote.
• Duration: 6 month contract (Extension is possible)
• Team: Web Platform US

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, enhance and maintain the adobe.com public website for Adobe Express.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams including Business owners, product management, product teams, IT, and vendors.
• Work with multiple teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions needed to build innovative web solutions.
• Research tools, technologies and software development processes and propose innovative, pioneering solutions.
• Collaborate with other team members and contributors to the code base to properly identify problems being faced and to arrive at the best possible solutions.
• Act as a custodian for the shared codebase, reviewing contributions made by other teams to ensure that proper tests are written, established conventions are followed, and backwards compatibility is maintained.
• Test and debug issues across multiple systems and domains.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• License or advanced programming degree and 5 years proven experience with web development.
• Experience in working with highly trafficked, scalable web applications.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and ES6.
• Experience with NodeJS, module bundlers, task runners and code compilers.
• Deep understanding of DOM, accessibility standards and SEO concepts.
• Mastery in writing performant code, understanding functional, asynchronous programming and responsive development.
• Experience writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks.
• Experience with CMS technologies like Adobe Experience Manager or Adobes Edge Delivery Service is a plus.
• License or advanced programming degree and 5 years proven experience with web development.
• Proficiency in English, excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Up to $88.03 per hour.
